Species: Humpback Whales | Location: Vava'u, Tonga
While on a workshop with Nature & Underwater Photographer Darren Jew in Vava'u, Tonga we spent some time with a very relaxed mother and calf with an escort which seems like a shadow at the bottom of the photo. This was my first time diving with the Humpback Whales in Tonga and each time seemed liked a gift, these enormous beautiful creatures are so graceful and very aware of your presence, gentle and caring and don't mind sharing their space with us humans. I can't wait to go back and swim with them.
About The Photographer
I have always had a passion for art & photography, to capture someone's character, a moment in time, the movement of nature, the geology of the earth, colours of the ocean and sky, the beauty in life.
I have a Diploma from New York Institute of Photography, Administrator for the Wednesday Group Photographers International, held several exhibitions at The Gallery, The Club and Etihad Modern Art Gallery in Abu Dhabi.
I am driven by an innate spirit to continually create, discover new challenges and love every second of it.
