This day I was walking in the woods and came upon a clearing. I looked across the tall grass and there it was. It acknowledged my presence and for one brief moment we made eye contact before it turned and loped away. It probably has already forgotten me, but I will never forget the encounter with this beautiful creature.

I am an amateur nature photographer. I caught the "shutter bug" a little more than a year ago. I especially enjoy shooting birds and butterflies on my walks in nature. Photography has opened up a whole new world for me. Everyday I see and learn something new through the lens of my camera.
