Species: Arctic tern | Location: Farne Islands, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

I was out on the Farne Islands when I took this image. We had stopped at our final destination, the tern breeding island which has hundreds, maybe thousands of terns, arctic terns, common terns and sandwich terns. As soon as I stepped off the boat I was approached by this bird.
