The Red Footed Bobby is the smallest of the boobies. Their feet and legs are red and their bills are pale blue. They are polymorphic, displaying many color variations as they age from juveniles to adulthood. They feed by diving vertically into the ocean up to 30 meter to catch their prey. Red Footed Bobbies are monogamous and started breeding at the age of four years old. The parents both share incubation duties.
