About The Photographer
Christy is a passionate conservationist and photographer who believes in the power of art to convey a story. After experiencing the impact her photos had with local non-profits, Christy felt compelled to keep pushing herself to leave a legacy for future generations and inspire change for a cause she truly believed in. This led her to join Photographers Without Borders on a recent workshop in Sumatra. Witnessing the fragility of the ecosystem, vulnerability of the animals affected, and the hope shining through those working hard to save this wilderness touched Christy's heart and soul. She hopes to help preserve wild places with her work.
