Landing Gear Engaged

Species: Grey Crowned Crane | Location: Lake Manyara National Park, Tanzania, United Republic of

This endangered Grey Crowned Crane came in for a landing next to our safari vehicle, in front of a background of white and yellow billed storks in Lake Manyara National Park. With only an estimated 17,700-22,300 remaining in the wild, getting to see this majestic bird up close and personal was one of the treasures of our safari.
