Tree Frog (Osteocephalus sp.), Cordillera Escalera conservation Area, Peru
Star Frog

Species: Tree Frog (Osteocephalus sp.) | Location: Cordillera Escalera conservation Area, Peru

The jungle comes alive at night, amphibians like this Osteocephalus species become active. The river is one of the only places in the jungle where there is a gap in the canopy and its possible to see the night sky. I tried to take full advantage of both facts, the activity of the frogs and the night sky and combine them in one image.
