Lion cubs playing "King of the Branch"

Species: Twin Lion cubs | Location: Northern Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, Tanzania, United Republic of

They say a mother's work is never done. Never a more true statement than that of a lioness with not one set but two sets of twin cubs. Here are the younger pair, ( appox 6-8 weeks old ) exploring their new environment. Mom and two appox. 5 month old siblings are resting nearby, all looking healthy and

well fed.

About The Photographer

Having roots in Alaska, Colorado and now calling the beautiful Pacific Northwest home, has given me a love of all wild creatures, an appreciation of the outdoors and a sense of adventure. Photography is a journey, capturing moments of unexpected beauty, telling a story and making the ordinary somehow magical. It is also about patience and sometimes being in the right place at the right time. My favorite photo might be the one I take tomorrow.
