Tanzanian Cheetah, Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, United Republic of
Nature's Nursery

Species: Tanzanian Cheetah | Location: Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, United Republic of

Relaxing in the shade beneath an acacia, a mother and three cheetah cubs escaped the suns rays. After drinking their fill of mom's milk, these three clubs launched into a fully-involved playtime routine. Wrestling each other, batting at mom's tail, and tormenting their mother; as is pictured here. We observed this slice of life for a mother and her children for about an hour, until momma cheetah decided it was time for her and her cubs to move on, walking gracefully across the grass of the Serengeti.
