Species: Zebra | Location: Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
By Kerry Maxwell
Of all the wonderful Zebra sightings while staying at Little Makalolo Camp in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe, this is my favorite. A protective stance by Mom to add to the confusion of stripes seen by predators.
About The Photographer
Traveler, observer and, on good days, wiser than the day before. I capture images of places that will be but memories unless we protect them. Sweeping vistas of our wild places, along with the details and intimate scenes that make the wild unforgettable. From the movement of water, leaves and wildlife to the stillness that creates mirror like reflections and calm within the heart; from the wild of the Everglades and Africa to the tamed wilderness of the city garden -- these are places I hope to protect by sharing their beauty.
