Wild Horse, Sand Wash Basin, United States of America
Wild Stallion

Species: Wild Horse | Location: Sand Wash Basin, United States of America

This wild stallion is one of the many I found on my trip into the Sand Wash Basin. It was truly incredible to see these wild horses in their natural habitat and in their herds. I loved this photo because of this stallion's strength, grace, attitude, curiosity, and contemplative nature. This stallion was a joy to spend time around in particular because he became interested in me while I was photographing him that he began to follow me around for some time, always coming closer as if he wanted to play then he would stop and graze again with trust that I meant him no harm. It was as if for the briefest of moments I was a part of his herd.
