Bald Eagle, Red Cedar Trail, WI, United States of America
Fiery Eagle Sunset

Species: Bald Eagle | Location: Red Cedar Trail, WI, United States of America

Growing up I didn't know that the greater Mississippi River Flyway should have eagles. (They were impinged by DDT). But they're pack in great numbers and Menomonie WI is home to many, many pairs. Eagles can teach us a great deal about perseverance and focus. This photograph was a lucky capture in that I skedaddled out of work to watch a flock of ducks overwintering in Menomonie. Actually it was my mom who was wildly gesticulating towards the tree downriver, which boasted two eagles. As sunset progressed, this eagle graced me with this fiery sunset photo. Join me sometime, for a hike down the Red Cedar Trail!

About The Photographer

Action Eagle Photo is about utilizing our time and skills to understand the metaphors that permeate our experience. In this case, eagles teach me how to be better every day. Not just in photography, or work, but also in life. No worries, I take photos of whatever wildlife offers a portrait.
