Heron Sushi
Species: Great Blue Heron and Pile Perch | Location: Vancouver - False Creek, Canada
This shot was about right time, right place. This Great Blue Heron landed almost right in front of me and was seemingly oblivious to my presence. Soon after landing his pasture changed and his head dove into the ocean. As he brought his head back out he came up with a tasty snack, this little Pile Perch.
