Species: Big Horn Sheep Ram | Location: Valley of Fire State Park, Moapa Valley, Nevada, United States of America
A lone Big Horn Sheep Ram was grazing on the new sprouts brought on by recent rains near the beautiful red rock formations in Valley of Fire Nevada State Park . He was a majestic male, keenly aware of my presence. After obtaining some wonderful shots, he faced me and locked eyes with me. His stance and stare told me the photograph session was over. I always try to keep my distance and allow the wild to stay wild.
