This is a portrait of the dominant Silverback male gorilla I saw on my gorilla trek to Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park. After a four hour hike up a steep animal trail, we finally approached the family group and, with the help of the Rwandan forest rangers, were able to witness their gentle beauty in their natural habitat.
