Lion Lineup
Species: Lion | Location: &Beyond Phinda, South Africa
We were watching all the animals at the waterhole, aware of a group of lions close by. A young cub came to the waterhole first but seemed afraid to drink even though he was at the water's edge. Then, one by one, five more lion cubs and two lion moms came down to the waterhole for a drink, all choosing to displace the other so they would be as close together as possible.
