About The Photographer
I’ve been a freelance photographer & illustrator over 30 years. I've taken classes and workshops, but I'm mainly self-taught in photography, drawing and painting. Now that I’ve generally retired from my accounting career, I can focus more on my artistic side. I've done some traveling, both in the US and internationally, and have captured images from this travel. However, some of my most favorite images are from familiar surroundings and places close to home. Love of gardening sparks my flower and landscape photography. I use my own photography as a basis for my drawing and painting. The media I mainly use are acrylic, colored pencil, pen & ink, gouache, watercolor and pastels.
