Red Ruffed Lemur, Masoala National Park, Madagascar
Critically Endangered Red Ruff Taking a Break from Its Snack

Species: Red Ruffed Lemur | Location: Masoala National Park, Madagascar

Whatever this critically endangered red ruff lemur was eating in that tree stump, it must have been pretty good! We could not believe how close he came to us in order to get to it. All the other red ruffs we photographed in Masoala National Park were quite high in the canopy.
