The Standoff
Species: American Bison | Location: Elk Island National Park, Canada
Only twenty feet of distance, and one, thin wire fence that was starting to rot, was all that stood between me and this lone bison. The distance between the bison and I was so close, that I could clearly hear it breathing, as well as look directly into it's eyes. Definitely a moment I will remember for a very long time.
