Crowned cranes, Amboseli National Park, Kenya
Dancing crane

Species: Crowned cranes | Location: Amboseli National Park, Kenya

During an early evening game drive in Amboseli National Park in July 2012, we came across a flock of crowned cranes that we jumping, cavorting, dancing and pairing. It was a most entertaining half hour in the company of birds displaying the pure joy of living. In this picture the one in the center is showing off to his companions and attracting some attention.
