Bald Eagle, North 40 Off-Leash Park, Delta, BC, Canada
17 Eagles

Species: Bald Eagle | Location: North 40 Off-Leash Park, Delta, BC, Canada

Normally you wouldn't expect a dog park to be a hive of bird activity, but the North of 40 Park in Delta, BC is quite the opposite. Bald Eagles nest and roost here by the hundreds over the winter season, but its still very rare to see so many in one tree at the same time. 5 in one tree can almost be considered common, but 17 was a once and only for me so far!
