The Green Heron
Species: Green Heron | Location: Brydon Lagoon, Langley, BC, Canada
This green heron was no walk in the park to spot. He would fly away before you could even spot him, tracking him was far too difficult and I did not want to disrupt his habit anymore than the many walkers on the path already were. Luckily after about 3 or 4 unsuccessful visits to the lagoon it called home, I stumbled across it perched on a tree branch out over the water. Snapped a few different compositions and then continued on my way, very happy with my success.
