A wee fox kit awoke from it's short nap in the morning sun to stretch itself out before running off to play with siblings. My guess is that the kits (7 of them) are about 8 weeks old here, and they've begun to display behaviours like that of their parents. As the parents are off hunting and gathering, these little guys play, fight, and mimic gnawing on solid food (they weren't quite weaned off of nursing yet). Adorable and entertaining to observe

Observing wildlife and documenting them by photography is a huge passion of mine, to see and understand how they live, to experience their characters, brings about humility and further respect for our co-habitants on this earth. I use photography as a medium to reach out and share the beauty of nature; visual stories help to engage viewers to relate to nature and it's creatures, with thoughts on sustainable co-habitation (#leavenotrace) and conservation of our environments we choose to interact in. Currently I have focused in on wildlife in the Pacific NorthWest as I'm only one to a few hours drive away from all that the PNW has to offer. I'd love to be able to expand further and widen my scope of animal studies as a hobby naturalist.
