Snowy Owl take off
Species: Snowy Owl | Location: Calgary Alberta, Canada
I had seen a large female snowy owl off in the distance, and thought if I stay put she may come a little closer. After waiting more than half an hour at -37Cel. the cold was setting in.
She flew in, and with all the long anticipation, I moved. She quickly flew off, but not before I took her picture. What a beautiful bird.
