Species: Brown Bear- Grizzly | Location: Khutzeymateen Provincial Park, BC, Canada, Canada
Came across this grizzly one morning in the Khutzeymateen (thousands of acres set aside by the Canadian government for the protection of the Grizzly Bears). Fortunately, he was only interested in eating the sedge (grass) - and not me! He'd only been out of hibernation a few weeks so he was hungry! And the only plentiful thing to eat before the salmon arrive is the sedge. Love the crane fly near the end of his nose!
