Serval Scanning the Field
Species: Serval | Location: Moremi National Park, Botswana
Racing daylight to get back to camp before curfew, our guide miraculously caught sight of what he thought was an African Wild Cat creeping in the marsh, 40 yds off our flank. We stopped and he exclaims, "No, it's a Serval!" We maneuvered closer and luckily just got some shots before the cat vanished into the tall red grass as dusk closed in.
