Species: Yellow Bear Caterpillar | Location: foothills of North Carolina, United States of America
My son spotted the subject, a Yellow Bear caterpillar, while we were on a nature walk in the fields behind my house. We followed with our cameras until it climbed to the top of a grass blade in front of the late afternoon sun and rested. I was able to take many photos, and focus-stacked the best into this one shot to improve the depth of field.
