This cheetah had been looking for a meal, observing some gazelles in the distance when he decided to take a rest. I captured this shot at the end of a big yawn which makes him look like he's chuckling at something.

Jeanne Frasse is a portrait and landscape photographer in Summit County, Colorado. During breaks between shooting portraits she enjoys seeking out the wildlife in her area in Colorado as well as many other locations in the world, including the US west coast, southwest, Florida, and more recently in Tanzania.
She uses Canon equipment, including the 5D Mark II and 7D Mark II cameras and the EF 100-400 lens for wildlife images.
