Lighting was perfect as the sun was going down. This Great Egret decided it was time to dance, spread his wings and it was a beautiful site to see.

I've had a camera in my hand since I was six years old, starting out in film and the darkroom. Over the past several years I've started photographing wildlife, more specifically coastal birds in and around the area where I live. The migration season is fascinating to watch as well as capture in camera.
