Grizzly Salmon Fishing in Bella Coola, BC

This old gal was wandering up and down the river bank sampling the salmon along the way. This was the first time I realised that Grizzly bears don't eat the entire salmon, only the eggs and the skin. They toss the salmon aside once they have eaten, leaving the pink/red meat for other scavengers.
