Playing Hard to Get
Species: Leopard | Location: Santawani Private Concession, Botswana
We had been told earlier in the trip that the birds often will indicate when a predator is passing by. We were on our afternoon game drive and heading towards a watering hole to check it out. The birds were going crazy, so I turned by head in that direction and saw the leopard walking away from the watering hole. She was a bit shy at first, playing hard to get, but settled down to let us observe her for awhile.
