Nesting season had begun at the New Jersey shore. As part of the state's conservation program, nesting platforms have been setup in the New Jersey salt marshes. The osprey had returned and were actively building their nests. What a pleasure to be able to observe so many, as each platform had a pair staking their territory.

Growing up in a rural area, I remember days of exploring the fields, streams, and barns of my aunt and uncle's farm. I've always been a lover of nature and am happiest outside, lately with my digital camera. I hope to capture some of nature's treasures and share it with others to instill in them a love and appreciation of our natural world. Photography and writing about my experiences is a hobby I enjoy sharing with family and friends.
