About The Photographer

I picked up my first camera when I was 6 years old. It was an old cellphone camera from my dad’s used phone. I just started taking random photos with the 1.5MP camera. Of course they were blurry and grainy, but that sparked the passion of photography in me. My next major interaction with cameras was my Freshman year of high school where I took a digital photography elective. I learned so much about my camera, a beginner level DSLR. My teacher saw potential in me and spent time showing me some photos from many of the greatest photographer that ever walked Earth. My main take away from that class is simple: some moments in life we don’t get to re-live, always have a camera at your side. My history with photography led me to invest in my freelance work. Nature and landscape photography has always been my passion. I like the challenges that arise with trying to capture the emotion I feel when I’m at some of these locations; the beauty of it all. Ever since moving to Alaska, I have been given the opportunity that not very many people get: photograph some of the greatest untouched landscape on Earth. Capturing the charisma of life, every hundredth of a second.
