Family Greeting
Species: African Elephant | Location: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya
This photo of two elephant calves was taken during one of the most marvelous moments of our lives: a magical hour spent surrounded by a herd of over two dozen cows, calves, and young bulls, watching them casually graze their way through a small grove of trees. Our group was almost completely silent, save for the beeps of our cameras.
