Midday Rest
Species: Cheetah | Location: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya
We encountered this beautiful male cheetah towards the end of our first morning in Kenya's Maasai Mara National Reserve. He was resting, but soon spotted a few wildebeest heading his way. We were able to watch him on the hunt, though it proved unsuccessful.
