Washing up after a meal

Species: african wild dog | Location: Chobe National Park, Botswana

We came across a pack of wild dogs who had just finished a meal and headed to a small pond to wash off. This dog hadn't quite finished washing when he sat down to cool off - the blood of the kill still on his face!
