While standing at a drip hoping for a few fall migrants I noticed the avian population go wild. Thinking it was a cat or dog I went to shoo it away until this bobcat looked up at me and snarled. I have never been so surprised. With only a 600mm lens I was too close for a full body shot so had to make do! with this close up. One of my first shots and still one of my favorites
