Species: Bird/Great Blue Herons | Location: Everett Washington Marina , United States of America
We have a number of Great Blue Heron rookeries in and near Seattle. They are located very high in mature tall northwest deciduous trees.
One of the locations I photograph Bald Eagles, Caspian Terns, Cormorants, Ducks, Osprey, and Shorebirds .....the Everett Washington Boat Launch and Marina, ....to my surprise this year..... are 20 new Great Blue Heron nests on eye level old rotting dock poles from one of the boat launch parking lots which are not easy visible.
