Hungry Gull
Species: Seagull | Location: Vancouver Island, Canada
I was waiting for the ferry on Vancouver Island, admiring the magnificent view. On looking down, however, I saw a more interesting sight - a gull swimming with a starfish in its beak. It came ashore and started to ingest the starfish. I assume it somehow got its lunch down but couldn't stay to watch - we were called to the ferry.
