Who knew how low a giraffe can reach for tasty treats. Poor things are pretty vulnerable when bending down like this. That's why they stay together in groups, taking turns protecting one another. We were on safari in Tanzania and were lucky enough to see a large group of giraffes resting. While some were seated, others stood guard. They took turns resting. It was amazing!
