I was fortunate enough to able to go on the Polar Bear Tundra Lodge Photo Trip in 2013. I was just getting into photography and bears have always been my favorite animal. The trip was the most amazing experience in my life to see polar bears in the wild! This photo was my favorite photo from the trip. It is of a young polar bear that was hanging around the Tundra Lodge. I love how he is looking directly at me . However, after I took the photo I noticed the dried blood on his face. It reminded me that the cute bear is one tough predator. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone and I hope to do it again.
