Species: Arctic Wolf | Location: Lakota Wolf Preserve, United States of America
"Tala" was photographed at my favorite wildlife preserve to date in the woods of Columbia, New Jersey called Lakota Wolf Preserve. I heard about this place after doing research on wolf sanctuaries on the East coast, so I booked a stay a bed & breakfast in Shawnee, Pennsylvania before my Winter quarter for college started, that way I can have more work for my portfolio graduation later that year.
This was Winter time, and it was a little challenge for me to shoot outdoors, but I spent a couple of hours being shown three wolf packs (the arctics being my favorite), and as I was adjusting my iso, Tala decided to perch on her log while watching her two brothers rough house.
It was quite a sight to witness as she and her packmates started howling in unison.
