Following the herd

This image specifically was a part of a private workshop at Return To Freedom American Wild Horse Sanctuary in Lompoc, CA.
A fellow photographer, who is also a part of the sanctuary, drove with me for an early morning session with one of the wild herd groups, and since he knows the way this specific herd works, he slowly walked toward them to get them moving into a gallop.
Let's just say it was one of the greatest Summers of my life.
