Cheetah in Sunlight
Species: Cheetah | Location: Masai Mara, Kenya
We found this cheetah eating a Thompson's Gazelle under a tree. After he was finished, he rested for a while. Then he got up, took a stroll around the area checking out all of the safari vehicles. He made sure to pose for all of us! When he returned to the Thompson's Gazelle, he suddenly looked up at the sky, bathing his face in sunlight. As soon as I got the shot, he settled down in the shade of the tree. I got some other nice images of him, but none with light as nice as this one!
