Killdeer Protecting Nest
Species: Killdeer | Location: Kentucky, United States of America
This killdeer laid several eggs in the gravel in an empty lot in our subdivision. If anything approached the area where the eggs were laid, the killdeer would run away from the nest and pretend it was injured.
