Grizzly bear., Muscle Inlet, 1 1/2 hour north of Klemtu, BC, Canada
Student -Teacher

Species: Grizzly bear. | Location: Muscle Inlet, 1 1/2 hour north of Klemtu, BC, Canada

Arrived at Spirit Bear Lodge in Klemtu, BC. Within the first hour of arrival departed for Muscle Inlet where we left our boat to hike down the estuary. Viewing Bear tracks all around we cautiously took a position along the river waiting for some activity. Oh by the way, it was pouring rain. Had to keep equipment dry. After about 1/2 hour Mother and cub appeared 30 ft away entering the river for a fishing lesson. This took us by surprise as Mother bear was obviously watching us for a while. they entered the river and set about their task merely 30 yards away. they stayed for 1/2 hour, literally a photographic epiphany.
