Paper Wasp and Ant, both hungry and looking for food
Species: Paper Wasp - Polistes fuscatus; and common ant. | Location: West Central Florida, United States of America
By Bruce Jones
A Pindo Palm in my yard was flowering which was attacting bees, wasps, ants and other insects. Surprisingly all these different insects got along with each other and there were no fights, they were too busy feeding.
About The Photographer
I'm retired IT professional, and I've had a lifelong passion for nature and photography. I lived in CostRica for many years which gave me the opportunity to see and watch a wide variety of its wildlife, from jaguars to tiny frogs. I believe that our continued existence is intimately tied in with a healthy environment.
