Species: Mountain Gorilla | Location: Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda
By Alli Faricy
After a filling breakfast of stinging nettles, a playful argument with a couple youngsters, this sleepy Mountain Gorilla finally nestled down (among his food, I might add) in the warm sun for a mid-morning nap.
About The Photographer
Finding, observing and photographing creatures in their natural habitats is when I am in my happy place. Learning a little bit about how they live, how they survive is my goal every time I go out there. The messiness that is taking pictures of energetic, moving beings in their natural habitat challenges and moves me. No day is alike, no scenario the same. Amateur who just loves animals and loves taking pictures of them.
