Satanella frontallis, Bahama Banks, Bahamas
One Pod, One Squad

Species: Satanella frontallis | Location: Bahama Banks, Bahamas

Sub pod of Spotted Dolphins investigate the camera/diver in the water. They're traveling, notice how the members in the back slowly break off, in their residential waters of the Bahama Banks. They could be traveling for a number of reasons such as to meet with other pod members or to switch fishing locations. They cover miles upon miles each day and are constantly moving. These dolphins have been interacting with humans for years so when they decide to interact it's because they want to. They are very intelligent. It's interesting to see the different behaviors between wild dolphin versus captive dolphins along with the views held with respective parties on both populations.
