Crab Spider and Bumble Bee
Species: Crab Spider, Bumble Bee on a Royal Pickeral pond plant | Location: our back yard in Corvallis, Oregon, United States of America
This crab spider, hidden in the Royal Pickeral flower, surprises the bumble bee as it was collecting pollen on same flower. The crab spider had already paralyzed the bumble bee when I took the picture. I did zoom in on this shot, but don't know the settings used.
